A project supported by District 5960 funds is wrapping up now in the Central African Republic. The project included the construction of a medical staff house and accompanying structures.  The medical team there is very happy with the finished product and are very excited to have respectable living quarters to base out of as they provide their life-saving services to beneficiaries in the surrounding villages. This project played a big part in helping them hire a very experienced midwife from the capital city that will be saving women and newborn’s lives on a regular basis at the clinic.

The total project cost was $8,500, made up of club contributions of $4,250 and 5960 District Funds of $4,250. Our club provided $750 for this project, and $2,000 on a related global grant. Please click "Read More" for pictures and a report from Senitizo.
