Our speaker today was Ryan Maxwell, CEO of Fluid Health and Fitness.  Even before the meeting began, Ryan and his associate, Bob Fleischman, had some of our members down on therapy tables, doing "Body Work". Ryan  spoke of his global system approach to healthy and sustainable movement. Click on "Read More" for details...
Corrective exercise and movement determines the health of our tissues.  Fluid Health and Fitness started as wellness based and then moved into physical therapy and is now an outpatient orthopedic center and specializes in functionally integrated exercises and sports medicine.  Their approach begins with physical therapy and then takes the kinesiology path.  Efficient movement is connected to the kinetic chain of the nervous, skeletal and muscular systems.  Our muscles support our structure and the myofascial systems help us stay in balance.  Another aspect of Fluid Health and Fitness is to educate clients and to do an assessment of whatever dysfunction they are experiencing.  A dietician is on staff to provide a nutrition and health assessment.  So by using a combination of physical therapy, functional corrective exercise, massage and clinical nutrition, the goal is to help you fully restore your body.  They are located at 5639 Memorial Avenue North in Stillwater .  They will also be with us in August for our Bridge The Valley Event offering Body Work to any biker who wants to take advantage of their services.  For more information please visit their website at www.fluidhealthandfitness.com.
